Information The Hal Saflieni Hypogeum is a UNESCO world heritage site and a very impressive archaeological find which dates back to 3500 BC. Tickets You need to go to www.heritagemalta.org several days (or weeks) in advance of your visit as due to conservation reasons only 10 persons per hour/80 persons per day are admitted to the site. The entrance fee is 10 EUR. Finding the Hypogeum The Hypogeum is located between several houses on on street in Paola, so it is not a separate site. The reason is that the Hypogeum was found in 1902 when a new house was to be built there.    |
